Regional Job Creation Fund Now Open
Monday 9 November 2020
The NSW Government has launched the NSW Regional Job Creation Fund.
Businesses looking to expand or establish operations in Regional NSW and create more than 5 FTEs are eligible for consideration under the Regional Job Creation Fund. The minimum grant is $100,000 and maximum grant is $10m (with a maximum 50% co-contribution from the NSW Government, subject to the number of jobs created). $20,000 is allocated per FTE created.
For further information regarding eligibility criteria, please see the Fund guidelines here.
What can a grant be used for?
Grants may be used for capital and other expenses directly related to the delivery of eligible projects, including:
- the purchase of plant and equipment that requires additional workers to operate; and
- expanding built infrastructure to enable job creation activities.
Albury Wodonga has all the key ingredients for businesses to thrive including affordable land, direct road, rail and air access to major domestic markets not to mention highly efficient transport linkages to some of the world’s fastest growing markets across Asia and beyond.
